Gearbox says Borderlands 2 gets first campaign DLC, coming to Steam October 16

In fact, the first new character DLC, the Mechromancer Gaige, was not even supposed to arrive until October 16, 2012. Then Tuesday October 9, Gearbox made the Mechromancer DLC available one week early and now the first of four campaign DLCs named Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty will be available for Steam download on October 16, 2012.
